GratisSpeaking Your Truth With Honesty – In A Way People Will Want To Listen To
Learn skills to deliver your message with compassion and care for the impact on the receiver. Learn to speak your truth in a way that removes blame and criticism and addresses what is important to you. And make clear requests for connection while letting go of the outcome.
Sylvia Haskvitz offers training worldwide – she most enjoys sparking peoples’ interest in embracing this language and consciousness as she sees the profound impact on clients’ health and well-being and those whom they touch. She now serves CNVC (Center for Nonviolent Communication) as an assessor/advocate to support the next generation of certified trainers.
Sylvia is the author of Eat by Choice, Not by Habit: Practical Skills for Creating a Healthy Relationship with Your Body and Food, which combines her two passions, Food and Nutrition and NVC. She has co-written an e-guidebook to accompany Eat by Choice for both adults and children. Sylvia’s essay, ”Enemy Images” (based on her work facilitating a Bay Area dialogue group every Sunday for a year and a half in the 90s during the Oslo Accords) was published in the book, Healing Our Planet, Healing Ourselves.
Before her NVC exposure, she received her BS degree from the University of Texas Allied Health Sciences at Houston. Once her excitement soared about sharing NVC worldwide, she completed her M.A. degree at San Francisco State University in Speech and Communication Studies with an emphasis in Interpersonal and Intercultural Communication. Sylvia enjoys supporting people on their journey to sustainable health and well-being. As a client recently stated: “Sylvia cares about what goes into peoples’ mouths and what comes out of them.”
She lives in Tucson, AZ with her beloved husband, Tim.
The workshop is online via Zoom, free of charge, and offered as a preview of the International Intensive Training in Sweden, August 2025.
